James Ashenden
- Position: Instructor (BKSA)
- Kitesurfing since: 2006
- Likes: Summer days at the beach
- Dislikes: Cold weather
- Ambition: Travel to the world greatest kitesurfing destinations
Thanks to his father who was a competitive speedsailer James has grown up on the water having been involved with windsurfing/sailing from a very young age. Although able to windsurf to a good standard it wasn’t for him and in 2005 James got into land boarding, 1 year later he was landboarding competitively. The landboard competition scene unfortunately went quiet for a while but James saw this as an opportunity to move his skills over to kitesurfing and he has never looked back. At every spare moment you will find James at the beach… even if it’s not windy, Just hoping to grab that sneaky session if there’s just a puff of wind, James LIVES kitesurfing!
